Entering a POI directly > In the POI menu, select POI search by name. > Enter the desired point of interest or part of the name. > To confirm the previous input, select or press and hold the rotary control/push button. The Becker® MAP PILOT displays in a list all the points of interest corresponding to the name entered. Note: The search radius is limited to 200 kilometres around your current position. > Select Start guidance to begin route guidance to the point of interest straight away. > Select the desired country. > Enter the city and, if necessary, the street in which you wish to search for a point of interest. NAVIGATION MODE Selecting a destination from the map You can select a destination straight from the map. > Select 1 to set the direction required for the geographic latitude. Notes: By selecting 3 you can switch from degree to decimal input and vice versa. Where possible, an address matching the coordinates will be displayed. Note: Turn the rotary control/push button to change the scale of the map display. Push the rotary control/push button to move the displayed cursor to the desired position. A list of possible destinations, an address or geographical coordinates are then displayed according to the position of the cursor. To do this, enter the individual destination points for the desired route. It is then possible to travel to these points consecutively without having to enter any further information. You can also optimise the destination points entered and in so doing change their order. Editing stored routes You can change the name of a stored route or delete it.
